Have a fresh start of GUI

I created a GUI which has textbox for users to fill in and axis that plot the result. However, weird enough is that every time when I newly started the GUI, it shows the textbox with what I filled in in the last run and the figure plotted before. Is there any way to get rid of it to have a fresh start every time I run it. Many thanks in advance.

It sounds as if you might have a savefig() somewhere in your code; if so then you need to get rid of it.
