what am I doing wrong?

I went to my account thing, I clicked the change my passsword. I get the email, I click the link, I put in the temporary password they send me, than I put the new password I want, I follow the guidelines, 8 charcters, with at least one capial and a number. than I click ok and it tells me to provide a valid password. been at this for three hours, tech support has been terrible, takes forever before a person speaks to me on the phone and I tried calling again and they are closed. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong? I need to install matlab on my labtop for my class and I can't because I don't know my password and it's not letting me reset my password.

Sorry, this Answers facility is replied to by volunteers, most of whom are outside the company and have no access to the accounts at all, so we just do not have the access necessary to resolve the problem.
