Use Spreadsheet Link with Matlab Online

Hi, I'm testing the Spreadsheet Link add-in and I'm currently need to know if it would be possible to use this package for customers that use Matlab Online, i.e. the browser version without having the software locally installed. I presume the answer is no, since Spreadsheet Link opens a new Matlab instance when activated in Excel, but I would like to have confirmation.

It is not listed as a supported product, and one of the limitations on that page states "Windows-specific components like COM are not supported.", so I'm almost certain it will not work.
