Crash when opening MDL file

Hi all,

A friend and I are working on a Simulink project. Whether I send him or he sends me a .mdl or .slx file, an error occurs when trying to open the file. For example: - he sends me a mdl file - I open Matlab (2013.a, same as his), then simulink - File, Open... I select the file... And a fatal error forces the software to close.

I have no issue running my own mdl or slx file. I have tried opening MDL as text and copy/paste some parts but I don't have knowledge of the code behind simulink projects.

Any idea to solve this issue ?
