Is there a way to solvepde on a mesh that was developed in another software?

Hello,

I output a mesh from a segmentation software that has node coordinates and connectivity. Is there a way to import that specific mesh and turn it into a pde model?

So far, I've only imported as STL and had Matlab perform the meshing (using generateMesh), but I can't do that for this specific problem. I need Matlab to use the mesh that was imported from Simpleware (ScanIP).

Depending on your software version, you can use geometryFromMesh, which was introduced in R2015b. I do not know whether your mesh is compatible with that function, but you can try.
