Commodity prices from Yahoo finance

Hi all,

I am trying to import the spot price of gold and silver. I have the datafeed tool but I don't seem to be able to get it to report the values. I can import share prices, and currency exchange rates, without problem. To the best of my knowledge the gold spot price would be 'XAUUSD=X' for gold in USD and XAGUSD=X for silver in USD. I then select bid, ask, open, close or any other value and 'NaN' is returned.

Am I missing something obvious here? I'm hoping that it is something simple.

Any help would be much appreciated.

could you solve it? I'm facing the same problem at the moment, I could import the data from other sites however I need to get it from yahoo
