Do I need to uninstall MATLAB ??

Do I need to uninstall MATLAB student edition that I have after graduating ?? Since it asked me when I am going to graduate when I install it for the first time. The CD and license came with a textbook of one of the courses.

No, you do not have to uninstall when you graduate.

However, the Student Version license can only be used while you are enrolled in a degree-granting institution. So although you do not have to uninstall MATLAB, you should stop using it. But if you went back to university some time then you could start using it again.

Thanks for trying to stay legal. There is an option for "deactivating" your license (under the MATLAB group under Start in Windows). You can do that without completely uninstalling it.

Maybe you'd consider buying a home license for not much more money. It's around $149 USD last I checked.

Though the Home License of $US150 does not include toolboxes; those are another $US50 each or so.
