Simulink icon grayed out in Student Version R2011a

I have the Student Version (R2011a) which should have Simulink but I can't start Simulink because the Simulink icon is grayed out. Why is this?

Not all parts are automatically installed. You probably need to go back to your installation program and specifically select Simulink for installation.
