What are the parameters that can be used to find the most information carrying channel in color image??

Just like entropy what are other parameters which we can used to measure the information content in a color channel??

You need to find a way to estimate the entropy. That gets more complicated on 2 dimensions than on one dimension, in some ways, but in a different theoretical sense they are the same. The problem with the theoretical sense is that it is impractical to calculate
