Need help making a 3D or 2D contour plot

Hello,
I am trying to currently make a contour plot of data I gathered from a wind tunnel. I have three 81x1 vectors (lets call them x,y,z) that represents data points:
  • Vector's x & y are simply just position points in an x,y grid
  • Vector z is the measured velocity at that given (x,y) point
How can I make a plot that will show the magnitude of the velocity at that given point?

Is the contour function giving you trouble, or are you looking for something more specific? contour3 is another option if you really want a 3D view.
