how can i find if a record sound is the same as a stored sound .

I am trying to make a sound detector , so i have an *.wav sound file ,and i want to play it on my phone , and want matlab to record it and compare the record with the original sound , and find if they are the same.

Are you using Android or iPhone? Are you expecting that a program will run on the phone that will do the processing, or are you expecting that the phone will just transmit it to the PC and all of the intelligence will be there? Were you thinking in terms of deploying something to the phone, or thinking in terms of using MATLAB Mobile?
