How to get an image from extern dll by image (Bitmap) handler

Hi, I have a special kind of file which I would like to read in Matlab. I create dll library in Embarcadero Delphi and export a function: TGetImage = function (FileName:PChar):HBitmap;stdcall; The library works well on standard application but how can I use them in Matlab, specially call the dll and take a bitmap by Bitmap handler. Is it possible to do? If not what You suggest to solve problem like that.
