How to interface intel Edison board with Matlab using Intel System Studio?

Is it possible to interface intel Edison board with Matlab using Intel System Studio? I would like to implement neural network in the intel Edison board, is any possible way to do it?

Hello,
This question was related with ISS(System Studio) and would like leave a link of Intel D2000 wtih Matlab using ISSM(System Studio for MCU) https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/intel-quark-microcontroller-d2000-how-to-communicate-with-matlab-over-uart
This link shows general way of communication between UART enabled HW platform and Matlab, However I would like to ask what/which feature are you considering from ISS over Intel Edison ? When you have more detail configuration about communication channel between Intel Edison and Matlab, it would help to understand your question. Thanks.
