How can you calculate the mean of paired figures moving down a column of a variable?

I am trying to calculate the mean of paired values working down a column of a variable.
The attached image shows the 19x1 matrix. I need to calculate the mean of row 1 and 2, 2 and 3, 3 and 4, and so on...
I am a novice to Matlab and this is for a university report. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try movmean
means = movmean(m, 2)
or else try
means = conv(m, [.5,.5], 'same');
