Like convexhull function convhull, i found boundary() for concave hull, but is there anyone who can tell me , how both functions have pros and cons? what is the difference between the two functions besides it being concave & Convex?

I am using both functions on my code, but i am getting the same result...I want to differentiate between the two.. and which is a better one to use?

Look more carefully at the examples in boundaries, including what happens as you change the shrink factor. boundaries() can calculate the convex hull, but it can also calculate other things.
