Code generation and build with psp for px4 success but motor won't arm

I am trying to use PSP with matlab2016a for developing simulink controller of pixhawk. Initially I tried to build example code provided with PSP however this won't work. Connecting to qgroundcontrol without micro sd card also not working. What else should be done for successfully arm and run drone?

Hello. I am getting started on embedded coder fro px4 too but have no starting point. I know i am asking a very broad question but any help will be appreciated. Can you point me in the right direction and show me how to start off. thanks

The safety switch still needs to be pressed to allow PWM signal generation.
