Can I transform the App design Matlab2016b to executable form

Hi all, As it is well-known, by using Guide App (3D graphics support) in Matlab, we can build an stand alone application and get an executable form. My question can we do the same with App designer (2D graphics support).

open Application Compiler >> applicationCompiler add your project file .mlapp as the main file press package and done

Thank you Sean for your answer, How you can do it, because when I package the code app, Matlab adds the GUI to Matlab applications. Thank you in advance for your consideration
