Hi everyone,
Currently, I am working on xPC target. I have a question about choosing the motherboard. I have a problem with the booting process which somebody may face to the same situation like me. Like this thread: https://ch.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/257574-fail-to-boot-target-computer.
After creating a Dos loader boot on USB. I tried to use this USB to boot in four motherboards, include my laptop and three motherboards. As a result, the booting processes are fine in two motherboards, the rest of them is failed with the same notification as the above thread. I am wondering about the limit of selecting a motherboard for xPC Target application.
Actually, I can not find any support or answer that can solve this problem. I am highly appreciated if someone knows how to solve this problem and suggest an answer for this situation.
Thank you!

Hi GreenPiece,
Did you find any answer for your question ? You asked the question on 9 May 2017, however I would like to try my chance to solve my problem.

Hi GreenPiece and Yavuzhan,
Not every hardware will work with Simulink Real-Time. I'm not aware of any list of supported configurations in Simulink Real-Time prior to R2018a. Please note that support for custom target hardware has been removed from Simulink Real-Time in R2018a. Starting from that release, only Speedgoat target machines are supported.
For more information, have a look at www.speedgoat.com and at the Release Notes for Simulink Real-Time.
Best,
Dimitri
