I encounter a problem with the attached MATLAB and SIMULINK code. Undefined variable "ParameterEstimator" or class "ParameterEstimator.TransientExperiment". I understand that the simple code was written in R2010b, and that may be an issue. I am using R2016a. IS this a version issue?

hi, were you able to get the BW_pinch.m file to run?

In R2017a, ParameterEstimator.TransientExperiment still exists, but is indicated as being replaced by sdo.Experiment and related tools.
ParameterEstimator.TransientExperiment is part of Simulink Design Optimization, which is an add-on package that is not part of basic Simulink.

Hi Walter, Thanks for your kind reply. I installed the Simulink Design Optimization, however, on running the M file, the error persists, as below.
Undefined variable "ParameterEstimator" or class "ParameterEstimator.TransientExperiment".
Error in BW_pinch (line 38) hExp = ParameterEstimator.TransientExperiment('BWBNpinch');
Please use
ver('sldo')
license('test','Simulink_Design_Optim')
to check that you have the appropriate product installed and licensed.
Note: the two files you posted are not enough in themselves to run the model: the variable ttot is not defined, and various inputs such as Ao are not defined.
