When I close a plot the screen goes black.

When I close a full screen plot window using command w my screen goes black. I am using R2014b and OS X 10.12.3.

I remember someone else posting about this about 1 to 2 months ago. Unfortunately I am tired enough that the key terms to search for are not coming to my mind.

I would recommend contacting technical support, as that sounds like it could be a bug. They can probably help. Because MATLAB R2014b was release long before OS X 10.12, you may have to install a patch to get R2014b working.

However, please keep in mind that MATLAB R2014b was release long before OS X 10.12. In addition (if I am reading the Platform Road Map correctly), it looks like MATLAB R2014b is not officially supported on OS X 10.12, so there may not be anything they can do.
