How do I download webmap data and show it in a MATLAB figure with geoshow() but the webmap is not embeddable.

I recently asked this question "I would like to create a GUI with a button that activates webmap(), but I want it to display the resulting web browser within the GUI and not a separate pop-up window."

O got this reply "This is not possible. You can download the data and show it in a MATLAB figure with geoshow() but the webmap is not embeddable."

How do I do this?

Hi,

Currently, there is no documented functionality to insert the webmap into a panel or a Figure window. The user could dock the webmap. The webmap remembers the dock settings and will be docked the next time it is opened.

The user cannot download the data and show it in a MATLAB Figure window using geoshow.

You can also contact the MathWorks consulting group in order to extend MATLAB to meet your needs.
