PointGrey camera with Image Acquisition Toolbox not found (GigE model)

I am using a PointGrey BFLY-PGE 31S4M-C on a Windows 7 Host Machine with Matlab 2017a and Image Acquistion Toolbox installed. The PointGrey Adaptor has also been installed. However, whenever I call

imaqhwinfo

I receive this error:

Warning: No Image Acquisition adaptors found. Image acquisition adaptors may be available as 
downloadable support packages.

Which is simply not true: by looking in the Addon Manager, it says the PointGrey Adapter should be installed.

What am I missing here?

P.S.: I also tried installing the GigE support package. I can find the camera, however there occur wild crashes when attempting to do anything.

Okay so I found a solution myself: I removed all addons once more and re-installed them with local aldmin priviliges.
