Getting the similar Mean for all images of a histogram

When I have calculated the mean of the histogram ,always getting one. The input image is of uint 16 datatype. I m multiplying the input by krisch mask and calculated the LDP.
The LDP code generated is different for input image but the pixelcount and graylevels of the hisogram is same.
WHat may be the reason
