Carol - Yes, MATLAB R2013b was likely the last release tested with ISE 14.7, as that was the current MATLAB release available at the time of its release. I don't know if Xilinx retests older software releases against newer versions of MATLAB.
If you are able to use Xilinx Vivado Design Suite (i.e. you are targeting 7-series or newer silicon), the newer versions of System Generator for DSP are tested against new versions of MATLAB. Xilinx outlined a process for upgrading blocks from ISE SysGen to Vivado SysGen if you are able to transition to Vivado.

Hello Noam Levine!
I have the Nexys A7 board featuring the Artix 7 (100T) processor, MATLAB 2017a and Vivado 2018.3.
System Generator for DSP doesn't list Artix 7 100T. However, 200T is listed.
Which version of MATLAB must I use (prefereably newer versions) for my board?
Note: Nexys A7 was released in place of the Nexys 4 DDR board.
