How to compute a cophenetic distance from dendrogram

Hi all, Hope you will be fine. I have a task to compute the distance from dendrogram. please if any one have some information related to this how can i calculate the distance from dendrogram. please tell me how can i manipulate dendrogram to find the distance.please guide me or have a function related to dendrogram descriptor (CD,MED,PMD,CMD.SMD) please mail at [e-mail]. waiting for your response. regards M Mushtaq.

If you are using the Statistics Toolbox hierarchical clustering functions, check out "help cophenet."
