Matlab Mobile: Search files on phone

Hi, When using Matlab Mobile on an Android phone, is there a way to tell a function to use read in an image or video file that is on the phone? I looked at the path name for an image and tried to use that, but it gave an error message saying it couldn't find it.

No, there is not.

If you are linking to your own host (not the MATLAB Online service) then potentially you could configure file sharing between your phone and your host, and ask to access the image under the name it would be mounted under on your host. I am pretty sure this is possible with Android; I am not certain it is possible with iPhone.

When you say linking to your own host, do you mean when I am connected to my computer instead of the online service?

Right. As in you went into a MATLAB session on your computer and commanded

connector on

and then told MATLAB Mobile on your phone to connect to your computer.
