How to extract falling and rotational velocity of an object from a 30FPS video using MATLAB

Hi i am struggling to extract terminal velocities above from a 30FPS video. But i dont know how to do it. please can anyone guide me for that. what is the accuracy of this process. Do we have easier method than MATLAB ?
