hi, output of my data set is 5x15 matrix, with this a contourf was plotted. the plot displays differnt colous since i used contourf command. so, i would like to compute volume of each contour line, iam having area under each contour line (this is for further information only) .. please help me.

You may get the volume using trapz. YOu may have a look into following link:

Thank you for reply, as per your suggestion, i use below code trapz(y,trapz(x,Z,2),1)..this is giving some answer but it was wrong.. can you tell me, in abobe code what is meaning of 2 and 1..
