From my understanding, you are trying to view the layer structure of a convolutional neural network. Assuming you've stored the CNN in a variable such as "net", the layer structure can be viewed by calling ".Layers" on your neural net. For example:

net = alexnet;
layers = net.Layers;

"layers" now holds an array of the layers in your CNN (in this case alexnet). You can then view this layer array by displaying it with the disp() call.
