Does my license not include a Stateflow license

In response to sfnew command:
License # XXXXX (edited by Andreas Goser to not disclose to public)
This seemed otherwise to be a complete access license ...

Greg, your license does not have Stateflow. I XXXXed the license number out as typically the admins of a license do not want to put the number out in public.
We received the same error message, though we have more number of Stateflow license available free. Any suggestions please?

I recommend that you ask your license administrator (likely someone in your IT staff) to check the license server and its logs. Perhaps you have enough Stateflow licenses now but at the time you tried to use one they were all checked out, or perhaps only certain users are allowed to check out those licenses and that access list needs to be updated, or perhaps there was a network issue that temporarily prevented MATLAB from accessing the license server, or ...

Stateflow is a separate product.
The ver command might be helpful in determining your access.

Thank you for your consideration, Cyclist. Stateflow is part of Simulink, no ? And I have Simulink, version 8.7
