MATLAB R2017a: Error: The desktop configuration was not saved successfully

Hey there,

I have encountered the following error on MATLAB R2017a: at first it gives this message in the Command Window: "The desktop configuration was not saved successfully" every couple of minutes. Furthermore, when I try to run a code it gives me the following error:

"An error was encountered while saving the command history java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\Users\Arvydas GW-PC\AppData\Roaming\MathWorks\MATLAB\R2017a\History.xml (The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process) at java.io.RandomAccessFile.open(Native Method) at java.io.RandomAccessFile.<init>(Unknown Source) at com.mathworks.mde.cmdhist.AltHistoryCollection$CommandSaver.run(AltHistoryCollection.java:1218) at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source) >> "

and I cant seem to find a solution anywhere.

Same problem for me. The desktop configuration was not saved successfully occurs periodically, history.io errors
