Hi I am a student studying wireless communication looking at the spectrum in real time using rsa306B I am trying to read only a certain amount of bandwidth while receiving data because the bandwidth is too large from centerFreq = 2.45, span = 100e6, to centerFreq = 2.41, span = 20e6 I wonder what kind of method The image below is an image taken after the source has been stopped and the source has been changed

Hi Taeyoung Hah
1.
In
For this instrument, the
MATLAB instrument driver for use with Instrument Control Toolbox
is mentioned.
2.
The $1e6 key questions:
  1. Do you have this driver?
  2. Have you installed it?
  3. Have you connected to the instrument?
As Admiral Nelson used to put it, there's little more that any war ship captain can be asked for if not be able to manoeuvring the ship within fire range and keeping an advantageous timing.
3.
The images in your question seem to have been acquired with Tektronix proprietary DPX.
The DPX reference for the RSA5000
doesn't mention any kind of interfacing with MATLAB
4.
So, does it make sense to answer this question by asking you to
  • change centre frequency, span and any other remotely available parameters, from MATLAB,
and also
  • acquire the signal with the above mentioned Tektronix driver,
Then if you want you can post the signal by attaching it to this or another question, in for instance a .mat file
if you find this answer useful would you please be so kind to consider marking my answer as Accepted Answer?
