System Identification Toolbox - Improve fit

Hi,

I am trying to get some transfer function fit to this data using the identification app, but it doesn't give me anything better than 50% fit.

This is the command I use:

    mw1 = tfest(z1,15,20,20,'Ts',Ts)

Can somebody give any hints or advice. Data is attached.

Which release of MATLAB are you using? Starting in R2016b, a new algorithm is used for faster and more accurate estimation.

I'm using R2015a. Do you think a newer version would give much better results?

Yes, I believe so. I would suggest upgrading to the latest release rather than just R2016b.

Didn't change much. Improved fit by ~3% maybe.
