Trouble with smlink_linkinv link on mac !

Hi, Im trying to link in inventor with Matlab. Have installed the packages necessary as far as I can tell.

go to finish up and by typing the following command and the proceeding error messages occur:

">> smlink_linkinv

Error using smlink_linkinv (line 13)

This add-in is available for Windows only"

Why would they have a mac download if this was the case ? any ideas how to resolve so i can export from Inventor?

resolution would be greatly appreciated.
