how to sample random data ?

i have a data x with increasing value but random. and function of x is y , let say, x=[0,0.1,0.3,0.5,0.6,0.7,0.9,0.95,1];y=[0,10,20,25,20,22,29,33,34] how to make x value to be sampled, let say by 0.125, with respect to y. (actually y value will be replaced with new sequence). and how to do that? thanks before for answer

It depends on what you want to do. I would use the Signal Processing Toolbox resample (link) function, especially if you are doing signal processing on the resampled signal. See the documentation for all the options the resample function offers.
