Optic FLow only on interest points

I was wondering if there is any method to compute optical flow between two frames only considering key or interest points(which I compute from other methods say SIFT or SURF etc)

Here is a function from MATLAB File Exchange that computes optical flow with options to specify a region of interest: https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/27093-affine-optic-flow
