Same reason as your other question: you are trying to use a syntax that is not supported in your R2015a version. You need to use step instead
txSigFOFDM = step(filtTx, [txSigOFDM; zeros(L-1,1)] )
You should be looking at the documentation for your version, not at the R2017b documentation.

I cannot eat the elm tree in front of my house. It is not legal for me to eat elm trees in my city: they are a protected species. (And there is also the problem that elm trees are mostly indigestible.)
Unfortunately, there is no Baked Alaska at my house. I have not seen Baked Alaska for about 35 years. The only place in the city that was thought just might still serve Baked Alaska, closed down about 7 years ago. In order to send you some Baked Alaska, I would have to hire someone to make some Baked Alaska in the first place.
The elm tree, on the other hand, drops its branches and generally makes a mess. I have some in the yard that I would be happy to get rid of. However, I can't send you any the elm tree: the city is worried about spreading Dutch Elm Disease, so I have to save the branches and wait for the city to collect them.
