Reciving measurements from XADC

Hi, I am currently trying to control a converter with help from the Zedboard using Simulink. I have been able to connect Simulink with the Zedboard and I am able to send control output to the pwm pins (JA1, JB1, JC1, JD1). My next task is to recive measurements from the XADC. How do I do this? I've been using the HDL Code Workflow, though with no sucsess.
