Hello, I generated a script that creates a wind turbine blade and creates the surf plots. I would like to have x_axis/y_axis = 1 in order to have a realistic view of the blade. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do it? Thanks in advice for the help!

Guessing here. See if using axis equal after you create the plot does what you want. You can set the axis limits separately with another axis call.
To illustrate:
figure(1)
surf(X, Y, Z)
axis([-1 1 -1 1 -5 5])
axis equal
This preserves the axis limits set in the first call, then makes the aspect ratio proportionate to the axis limits for the three axes.
