How to control the location of an .stl from importGeometry, i.e. set midpoint to z = 0?

Hello,
As the title says, I am importing an .stl file to do analysis in the PDE toolbox.
Everything works fine, however, it looks like matlab just assigns the position of the .stl file.
My object is a cylinder, and I would like the midpoints of the cylinder at the x=y=z=0. In other words I want the center of the cylinder to be at the x=y=0, and the midpoint of the cylinder to be at z=0.
Currently, the center of my cylinder is at some arbitrary x, y value, (x = 12, y = -5).
Does anyone know an easy way to do this?
