Simulink RaspberryPi3 ROS Kinetic Ubuntu Mate crash when build model

Hello,
Im trying to build a simple model where a square signal will be published to topic. I have whole environment configured properly, all connection checks pass etc. I have Ubuntu Mate 16.10 on RPI3 and ROS Kinetic running on it, connected into same network as PC with Simulink over WiFi.
The problem is that at about ~62% of build, Simulink build crashes/freezes my RaspberryPi3 as the memory usage goes from ~35% to 100%.
Did i misconfigure something that causes Simulink build process to consume so much of memory on my RPI3?
Attaching model and build diagnostic log.

Sorry for responding to this so late, if you are still facing issues, I request you to email with reproduction steps (+files) to support@mathworks.com and do mention using "Simulink Support Package for Raspberry Pi Hardware"

Hi, I had exactly the same issue. Apparently, the solution is to run catkin_make on only one core. In your environment variable, set export ROS_PARALLEL_JOBS=-j1.
Better include
export ROS_PARALLEL_JOBS=-j1
in your .bashrc file.
