How to create correlations and find hidden patterns

I am new to matlab and have to do project. I have disease data in which of different heart diseases. These diseases have some causes. And also spatial data ie; different regions . I have to find correlation and find the hidden patterns. For example if a ischemia disease cause is age then in lahore this disease is of the age range of 15- 20 years. This i have to inference that for what age range is this disease is in lahore. By assigning values to these regions and diseases. How to do this in matlab. plz reply.

You might get an answer if you give more details of your data and what you want. From your description I can't figure out if you want to do correlation, regression, cluster analysis, or something else.
