How to specify Target Hardware Implementation settings in custom target file

I have derived my custom code generation target file from the ert.tlc. In the "Hardware Implementation" pane of the model preferences dialog I am supposed to select "Determine by Code Generation system target file" as board, according to the documentation.

However currently I have no idea where to specify this information (word sizes, endianess, rounding behaviour...) in my custom target file.
