Create a Quarter Cylinder Plot

I have a set of data in a 1x48 array that represents the temperature at certain points on a cylindrical object. I was asked to represent the values in a quarter chunk of the cylinder to show temperatures inside the object as well. I'm wondering 1) how I can create a quarter cylinder and 2) how I can represent meaningful data along this cylinder instead of just presenting the shape itself. Thank you in advance.
