How to define transparency of errorbar?

Hi, I'm trying to use 'errorbar' function to show some discrete data with errors. There are some data stacked together so I want to add transparency to the marker and the cap. I tried to define this property using 'alpha', but it seems 'errorbar' function doesn't have this property. So how can I do that? Thanks.

Thanks. DO you know some others examples of the discrete data errorbar? Those in the links are for continuous data.
