It depends on your prof. A fast prof can be updated in a few seconds, while a slow prof requires to print the file to paper and use OCR to reimport it, such that this can take some days for large files.
Please post any details, if you need a more explicit answer.

Dear Krishnendu, sorry, I was kidding.
I still do not understand what you are talking of. What is "your prof" - your professor? And what does "uploading" mean in your question? Who is/should/could check which file? Matlab 2012b is still "Matlab7", it is "Matlab 7.13" to be exact. Why shouldn't it be uploaded?
Are you talking about the FEX? Did you read the corresponding guidelines already? Uploading a file to the FEX takes some seconds only, and it can be downloaded after 1 to 3 work days later.

Please note that the MATLAB File Exchange is not intended to be a mechanism to submit assignments.

Perhaps "prof" means "profile"?

Please try to use correct spelling. "prof" might be kewl, but the reader waste time with guessing, what you are talking about. It is a nice and friendly gesture to make the reading as easy as possible.
Please explain the details: When did you upload the file? What did the email about resubmitting tell you? What did you exactly do for "resubmitting"? Did you ask the sender of the mail already? files@mathworks.com is a very good location to start from.
