How to create Training data and Checking data in Neuro-Fuzzy Designer app (ANFIS) ?

I created FIS using Fuzzy Logic Designer Toolbox in Matlab. Then I extracted the input/output data from that and created an excel file and hence, a .mat file for training in Neuro-Fuzzy Designer Toolbox. Neuro-Fuzzy Designer Toolbox actually takes training and checking data. Now, i have created the data for training using the evalfis command for around 400 inputs and got outputs correspondingly. First thing, what is training data actually and how it is obtained, am i doing the correct? Secondly, how can i get checking data and what type of data it is?

I have the same problem to create Training data and Checking data in Neuro-Fuzzy Designer app (ANFIS). Did you find a solution?
