VideoReader is not working with Dicom Images?

I am trying to fix a video sequence out of dicom images. I get the following error.
'Unable to determine the codec required'
My code is fine since it perfectly work with jpg images. Any idea?

VideoReader doesn't work with DICOM files, but it is possible to read these files with dicomread in Image Processing Toolbox. The output of the function will be a stack containing all of the image frames.
