computer shuts down when matlab ANN running

Hi, when I run ANN code for 2975 lines of data; * The ANN Toolbox works fine for codes that yield results in about 1 minute, * But when I run it with another code, when the iteration comes to a half, the PC turns down by itself.

A computer shutting down like that can often be a sign of the processor overheating and shutting itself off. If you have the ability it might be worth observing the processor temperature as the code is running

David, I think you are right, I've just observed the processor temperature and it's up to 80 degrees celsius and it's off.

Yeh, the exact figure varies according to motherboard and BIOS, but the processor will usually go into protective shutdown somewhere between 70 and 100 degrees C. You'll probably need better cooling, though sometimes a bit of a dust out can work wonders

It is also very important to find the source of the problem. Thank you for the help. Then I have to work on a PC with a high CPU.
