I need to make a music composer GUI with different frequencies that can be selected and then played.Any idea how to do it?

Muhammad - which version of MATLAB do you have? Since building a GUI, later versions of MATLAB have App Designer; other versions have GUIDE.

What do you expect the GUI to look like? Will you use buttons for each frequency?

I'm using R2018a.

I want the frequencies to be selected from a listbox and at the same time select a radio button for the duration a particular note plays.

Another thing, is it better to use app designer or GUIDE?
